The timelines and storylines of these books from one book to another is so disjointed. How did Mia go from being a redhead who Ross and Kenley nicknamed “red” to a woman with black hair? how is Kenley when she was subscribed as an elementary school kid? Way more than three years have passed in the storyline and things are so disconnected. I found myself really not enjoying this author.

This story has so many plot holes! And because it’s a series the plot holes go across the books. For example, what is the age difference between these people? When did the dad have another kid? How did she find out about him? And if the dad knew about him, why did he leave him in foster care? Maybe some of these will be answered if I finish the book but I’m just like please fill these holes!
