I don't know if it was because editors chopped out big chunks, however the story has "skipped" forward a couple of times, and honestly I would've preferred if it had taken it's time.

First we're in a sort of neolithic age and then suddenly we're in a gilded age?

The three Humanaki go to a foreign place where they are, quite consistently, berated and insulted... it doesn't make sense?

Admittedly I am already biased to like this book by its very nature as a fan of cliche 90's sci-fi and pseudoHistory nonsense that the modern "History Channel" doles out...

6 chapters in and I'm loving it.

The only drawbacks so far:
The kerning in the print isn't quite right so there's space between letters where there shouldn't be.
And the author needs to hone his writing skills a bit. Just a bit.

Some things give you ideas to think on, but on the whole it's just a collection of opinion pieces from an unknown person. If she had a bigger reputation as somebody whose thoughts were of value, maybe it'd make a better impact. She does write about herself as if everybody should know who she is.

Although I enjoyed seeing somebody else's perspective, the bits of ego thrown in kinda killed it.

Character continue to be flat and lifeless. Author obviously has no clue what he's talking about.

First impressions: Male author has no clue how to write from a female perspective. The characters are flat and boring. You don't get connected to them.

Racism, sexism and elitism brought bluntly to life.
