Still haven't really warmed up to this because of all the misogyny or whatever you want to call it, but it's easy enough to listen to, so that's what I'm doing when there's nothing else to do.

Finally this is picking up and getting juicier. I was ready to be scandalized (in an old-fashioned way) going into this book and it didn't deliver - in the beginning.

I know nothing about Zimbabwe and this book is just slapping it in my face. Enjoying part 2 more than part 1 because of said cluelessness.

Things I've learned so far:
Women have breasts.
Women can do things, too!
Not a feminist masterpiece but why would I expect that.

I finished listening to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire a few days ago but Goodreads will never know until they add rereads. Am now on to Order of the Phoenix, with Stephen Fry in my ear as well.

I was liking it but then he started rhyming and now I'm not so sure. xD
I think I'll only be able to read on the weekends for a while. After work I just fall asleep when reading.

I definitely prefer it when Father Brown speaks and theorises instead of just being a piece of furniture that then solves a crime on the past page. That being said, I love some of the lines!

I'm addicted to short crime fiction. Sue me.

Finished all stories in His Last Bow. Now there are only 12 little stories left (that I can't find any audio versions of).

This book couldn't be more stuffed with clichés and isms or it would burn itself. Albeit the desire to sigh loudly like every two sentences and to rip this book apart it's actually readable.

Ugh why do last books in trilogies always have to be such drama?! WHY YOU TAKIN' MY BABY AWAY FROM ME
