Her first book is hilarious. This one is a mixture of very funny and so very sad. I appreciate that she shares so much about her struggles with extreme anxiety and depression, and the stories when she is not talking about those issues are so bizarre and just as funny as the first book. The cover might be the best part...

As a general rule, I love memoirs written by comedians. This book is no exception. I was repeatedly surprised by where Delaney goes with his odd comments and spot-on observations, and I definitely had little bursts of laughter every few minutes. Not quite BossyPants, or Let's Pretend This Never Happened, but getting there because it's a lot more honest and reflective.

This is one of the best, most insightful, most endearing, and funniest books I've read in a long time. It's on lots of end-of-year lists as the best comic for 2013--for good reason. I loved it.
