🫣 I consider Disney War a comfort read in many ways, mainly for the nostalgia of growing up during the Disney Renaissance, but maybe reading this right now at this moment in 2025 isn't a great idea...

I think Disney is an exceptional company in many ways, I don't think this is one of them.

I’ve been trying to keep my cool. Really, I have. But this trilogy is rotted. Every characterization is so off, and that of Anakin has now sent me over the edge. Rotted. Gutted.

This is slightly better than Queen’s Shadow so far, but I still don’t like the changes/additions to Naboo and Padmé lore 🫤

How I feel when I put off writing a review

I know Tatooine is meant to be a rough landscape with even rougher people, and this book is defo reinforcing that and its many dangers, but I can't help it. I love Tatooine so much. No other fantasy location alit inspiration in my bb brain like it did, and it made my heart forever yearn for the desert.

I'm beyond hyped to see TPM in the theater this Saturday ✨
