I’m not sold on this so far! I find the protagonist to be lowkey irritating so we’ll see how we go

This is the first Emily Henry book that I haven’t enjoyed all that much. I don’t know if I’m just not really into how she writes romance anymore or if it’s the characters or something else, but I’m not finding myself particularly invested in this one

I don’t remember the first book all that well but I think I prefer it over this one

I’m listening to the audiobook version and so far my main takeaway is that there’s a reason I don’t usually gel with fiction audiobooks

feeling quite meh about this so far – I think there’s potential but it isn’t compelling and it’s almost saccharinely sweet

pros: at least i had something to read when patients didn't want me there
cons: everyone is insufferable

the abject irony of starting to read this after a bad and too short sleep
