Loved Queen's Shadow and since there's going to be another on in the series figured I'd should get on this. And put it on my Goodreads finally.

I've been reading this one to the cat just like I did Cosmos. I love both of these books sooooooo much.

Interesting stories but the tone breaks my brain. We go from a story of a man selling his wife to mentioning a woman who lived in the Catskill mountains who was a typical 19th century who is being pointed out for only talking about her day and not the Restoration period after the Civil War. And it's like either comment something real on history or stay away completely. Half attempts just come off... Weird.

Marion Bullard sounds like a local badass Leslie Knopes.
She got the Town Supervisor at the time's word that they would inoculate all of the dogs with the Rabies vaccine and got over her fears of technology to be involved with Kingston's Radio Station.

That's a thought about exercise I never considered.

I kinda didn't pay attention and thought this was the basis for the Cat Book mentioned in 1Q84. Its defintely not but it's defintely cute even if it's not what I expected. the artwork is adorable and the story will make you smile.

This book has made me say WTF a lot... And now I'm saying it even more. I don't know how I feel about it and there's still another half to read.

This book is so sweet but either this kid is lucky or the author is a tad bit too optimistic about every stranger. Still if you need warm fuzzies, this seems to do the trick this far.

Loving this book but oof the feels.

I'm already finding this an interesting read.

This book is amazing but right now it's wrecking me and I was crying so loudly that my dogs were worried about me. Damn it. But it's good.

Story Inception

I started this on the 31st because it sounded interesting and I wanted to try to finish out March's theme. But now I need to finish it no matter what because it's so interesting. If you decide to read it brace yourself for that first short story, it's a doozy.

I love the combination of serious and light hearted stories. Also that they're just completely random sometimes.

I'm really enjoying this essay discussing likability of characters especially in relation to women characters.

How to be friends with Another Woman seems like a good one so far.

Persephone The Wanderer was not a poem I was expecting when I started reading this.. But damn is it good. It has definitely changed the way I look at that myth for sure.

I've never really read anything like this before and I'm really enjoying it. The descriptions are beautiful.

"as if truth didn’t mean anything without someone to share it with; you could shout truth into the air forever, and spend your life doing it, if someone didn’t come and listen."

I love that this is a fantasy novel but has some really good points that are applicable for life and this world.

"spending too much time alone indoors, and forgetting that living things don’t always stay where you put them.” Much truth.

This seems pretty interesting so far but I don't exactly know where the story is going yet. I enjoy the main character though.
