Good information, but the writer is a bit too accustomed to the repetition of training a dog. Everything of importance in the book is repeated at least 3 times.

This is my second book by this author and I am seeing a tendency to write beginnings that make you want to stop reading the book. If the last book didn't pick up so well I'd quit reading. 90 pages of awful crap happening in excruciating detail.

Considering giving up on this one. Not connecting with the characters, a lot of repetition of thinking things over, and one of the main characters is supposedly very clever but just comes off weird.

Tom Coakley is 58% done with Hollowmen (The Hollows, #2)

Spoiler alert: This author should really have spent more time thinking things through. Unless zombies are hiding all the kitchen knives there is no bloody reason for the characters to be weaponless most of the time. Even if they hid all metal objects they couldn't hide every good stick. And some of the fight sequences play out unrealistically.
