I definitely feel like I’m more invested in the MCs relationships and story than the plot itself.

And the banter and conversation between the MMC and FMC is truly a thing of beauty. I have never experienced banter that feels intellectual at its core, but also so filled with hatred and lust at the same time. It’s fascinating to experience!

I’m in love with this book! The characters, the story development, the tension, all of it.

So much is happening and we’re learning so much about the world, magic and beyond. I’m loving it!
