I saw this book recommended to a friend on twitter. I am so glad I picked it up, so far it's excellent.

This is some sick, twisted shit.

Picked this one back up. It's a dark read and I really like the world that Mr. Kadrey has set for us.

I can't believe I waited this long to read this series! It's breaking me in all the best ways.

I never got past the title page last fall, I picked it back up last night and am now wishing I could have changed September me's mind. This is one of those worlds just keep you wanting more and more.

Consent is sexy.

I just want to crawl into this book and live here. Since I can't do that, I'll settle for moving to Wildstone.

Leon had me cracking up. Nevada needs to cut Conner some slack. Conner needs to think about including Nevada in decisions about her.

I still think Deacon is an arse. He's a good character, but he's also a total dickbag and gets all his exercise jumping to conclusions.

I want to dislike Maddek, but I can't. He recognizes his mistakes and immediately seeks to correct them or learn from them. Yvenne so far is A-Fucking-Mazing.

Everything is good so far except: All these characters that have never met or seen or heard of one another know eachother's names. It's driving me nuts and taking me out of the story. I'm going to take a break from this for a while.

Twice now, Ivy seems to have pocketed someone else's phone. This time she even started receiving text messages on the not her phone. First Sadie's in the car, now Jenny's in the Taco Truck. I hope it gets cleaned up before the final pub.

The thing I don't understand about Izzy is that she waited nearly 20 years for that blue idiot, I can barely wait 3 minutes for my man to piss when I'm trying to get him out of the house. LMAO

Yes, I know she has an extended lifespan, it's a joke ;)

Had to suspend this one. I really am not in a place to deal with alcoholics in my books right now :(

Jack just doesn't do it for me the way Luke and Ben do. I like the book, but it's my least favorite Lucky Harbor.

I love Cella and Crush almost as much as Lock and Gwen. Cella does my part Irish heart proud.

I am really enjoying Lugus's story, but for the love of all things dickly - using "rod" every time penis is mentioned is redundant and unimaginative. Penis, Dick, Sword, Cock, Member, Staff, even ManStick wold work at this point.

Moira's story is much darker than that of her sisters. Very interesting indeed.

The Sophie Jordan story was cute and sweet. I would have liked just a bit of an epilogue though to see they at least get married.

Sarah MacLean once again tugs the heartstrings with earnest and honest anguish and I am here for this.

The Tessa Dare story was great. Warm, witty, and charming.

Two things bothering me: One of the victims used two different names for his wife before dying and no use or talk of contraception. Otherwise, so far it's another great read in this series. Just enough creep factor.

HA! This quick draw conversation just goes to show that the Gods give mates that compliment each other. *chuckles*

As they're discussing ways to work around Simone's curse, I wonder why she never told Heath and crew exactly how close she was to getting free.
*shrugs* Just something that keeps popping into my mind.

I feel bad for Jeff even if he is kind of sadistic. He's just wandering around lost and left out looking for clues.

So many revelations in this one. I can not wait to see what Ms. Trent throws at us next :D
