Some of the short (really short) texts are not as interesting as the larger ones, but it is wonderful to know and meet Terry Pratchett.

Finally I feel a little less like a Discworld traitor for recommending that people skip the first two books. "..I find it now rather embarrassing that people beginning the Discworld series start with The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic, which I don’t think are some of the best books to start with. This is the author saying this, folks."

So far this audio has been very entertaining (I've just finished episode 3). The actors are doing a great job, the sound effects are cool and I've chuckled a couple of times. I wasn't sure I needed to know about someone who wants to be a programme manager at a firm that employs serial killers, but I guess I did!

This book is a compilation of the articles Lopp writes in his blog, some I've already found in "The Art of Leadership" but the book seems to be interesting in its own right. Even though the ideas are similar, there's more stories supporting Lopp's theory of what works best. I find myself agreeing with him, specially in the "don't stop coding" bit ;)

I started reading this book to learn more about mobile networks. So far I've learnt a lot, but the wording on some sentences is weird, there are some minor mistakes and a lot of the pictures could be removed as they don't add anything.

The first time I tried to read the book I gave up because the "narrator" sounded too arrogant. Fortunately, the audiobook version solves most of these issues. The author tries to sell you his ("amazing") experience repeatedly but it is worth it to go through with it, there are good techniques and ideas to deal with difficult people and learn how to negotiate better.

I'm halfway through the book and so far it's been pretty entertaining. I think I'm about to come to some twist that will turn the story upside down, but so far it's been a pleasant surprise to listen about female struggles in a men's world.

"It’s natural to feel some longing for simpler times, when it was just you and your computer and you didn’t have to deal with all these messy, complicated humans." - This is by far the most interesting and complete book on management I've read. Even if the rest of the book is not useful, I have never taken so many notes on an ebook. What a great resource for the future!

Anyone that has worked in multicultural groups will read this smiling and nodding. It has already been useful because it made me rethink some slides I need to present to someone who is more application-oriented than I am. Always learning! So far I'm enjoying this book a lot. I guess it's because it proves things you're already aware of but didn't know how to explain it.

I like books about facts because I'm curious and I like to know "why" and "how". So of course I am enjoying this book but the bit that I'm enjoying the most is that the author says multiple times that he doesn't know how to explain some things because he doesn't understand them, although other people do. This has somehow connected me more to the book and the author.

I am enjoying this book and learning quite a few interesting things. However, it would be nice to read a chapter without a paragraph explaining what the "scientific method" is... Again.

I am enjoying this book, but it's taking me a long time to finish it because "life happens". At the same time I am trying hard not be dismayed at the way humans treat other humans. As a data scientist, this is very close to heart... and it tightens mine.

I'm listening to this memoir slowly as I am trying to savour each chapter. Toksvig's life is full of little lessons (also historical, it makes me want to know more about London) and I really enjoy her voice reading some passages, specially the inaudible sighs that seem to somehow reach my mind. I feel this book will turn out to be one of my favourites.

I wasn't sure what to think about this book since my knowledge of rugby is close to zero. However, I am really enjoying this and somehow it is working as a personal translator of what my management tries to do with our teams. Very interesting so far!

I'm having a tough time trying to find this book interesting. If "less is more" is a universal truth for almost every type of media, I am not sure why I am still waiting for this book to begin after having read 1/5 of it.

So far this book is extremely compelling. I started listening to the audiobook but now I'm mostly reading. I keep thinking that the title probably means something as cuckoos leave their chicks for other birds to take care of... And all the brothers were adopted.

I wasn't expecting Mark Carwardine to write the book instead of Stephen Fry, and I wasn't at all expecting how funny he is. And how much I am sorry for being human in almost every page of this book! I am almost at the end and loving every chapter... the kakapo seems to be a winner again.

My memory is not great, but I remember my dislike of this book. I think it will remain my least favourite of the series, and although I still think teenager Harry could have had half the pages, now I know Rowling knew what she was writing about. The second half is great, mostly because there are no bad surprises when reading a book for the second time...
