It is different than the usual Ilona Andrews stories. I'm starting to enjoy it but considering the pace of the story I'm pretty sure we can expect a cliff-hanger ending, maybe.

So far I love Gideon character and the kinda dark humor of the story. But the language is freaking hard. I don't know if it's because I'm not a native english speaker thou I'm fluent, still I'm strugling with this. Also I don't get the world-building yet, hope it changes with the story progresson.
