If I could ask Jonas three questions, I would start by asking him why he didn’t know what assignment he might be given. I would ask him this because his father knew what assignment he would most likely be given. I would also ask him why he is friends with Asher because it doesn’t seem like their personalities are a good fit. I would finish by asking Jonas why he had never asked about his eye color.

Siena G is on page 341 of 384 of The Odds of Lightning
When the characters in this book are stuck by lightning, the author’s writing is sympathetic and tragic. As we see the characters progress throughout the story , the tone of the writing becomes playful and a little whimsical as the try to find out what crazy magic is effecting them.

There is a lot of conflict in this book, including character to character conflict, but the most important form is character versus technology. The book is about the quest to find Halliday’s video game Easter egg. Throughout the story, Wade Watts, aka Parzival, is fighting through video games and movie remakes to inherit Halliday’s fortune.

I would tell him that he should stop reading so far into the omens and pay more attention to what the omens are doing to other people, like Fatima. I think he though about what they were saying so much that he didn’t pay attention to which direction they were pointing him in. All her could focus on was Egypt and the Pyramids when really his treasure was where it all started.

Siena G is finished with Hope's Promise (Soulkeepers Reborn #2)
This story is a narrative that uses two different text structures. It alternates the character point of view each chapter and has parallel stories that tell what is happening at one time to two different characters. Finn, Hope, and Lucifer are the only three characters with parallel stories and the whole book it told from their three perspectives.

This Story is told from third person point of view, but changes character points of view and stories every few chapters. The most important relationship in the book is the one of Lucifer and Hope. The third person point of view gives us insight into both of their thoughts.

One of the major archetypal symbols is the sanctuary. It is a forested area with trees that tower far above Jenna’s head and purple mushrooms grow at her feet. It was the place she last saw her mother and the last place her father was sane. The garden of mushrooms by the lake is her safe place, and it holds many memories.

Jenna Metcalf is the outcast archetype in the story. Ever since her mother went missing, she has yet to fit in at school both socially and physically. She doesn’t run fast in PE, nor does she enjoy gossiping with the girls at lunch. Jenna prefers to study elephants and copy her missing mother’s journal entries into her notebook.

Siena G is finished with Love & Gelato (Love & Gelato, #1)
A minor character in this story is Thomas. He acts as a distraction because Lina doesn’t want to tell Ren that she likes him. Thomas has no clue what’s going on, he thinks for almost the entire book that him and Lina are a thing. The author wrote him into the book to complicate Lina’s feelings. She likes Thomas and Ren, which makes things hard. As stated, people come to Italy for two reasons, love and gelato.

In the last Goodreads update we talked about Archetypes, in this case overcoming the monster, therefore I think every character is a dynamic character. The moral of this story is that no matter what we say or how much we try, it will always be easier to overcome the monster by supporting each other and helping one another. Each in different ways, the characters come to realize that not every story has a happy ending.

The archetype in this this story is overcoming the monster. Ty is the monster and the story is about how the character stay safe and alive while he is actively roaming the school with a gun. Although Ty does have targets, every person wants the same thing. To overcome the monster that is Tyler Browne.

There are both sympathetic and unsympathetic characters in this book. One unsympathetic character is Rose Mary Walls. She is a wife and a mother of four, so you would think her to be a very sympathetic person. She is not. Rose Mary is a free spirt who hates the idea of domesticity and doesn’t want the responsibility of raising a family. She is constantly making bad decisions that have negative effects on her family.

The setting in this story is Eden. Eden is a synthesized world. Everything from the dirt to the food eaten was made in a lab. In Eden, there are different neighborhoods, some are good and some are bad. The story would be drastically different if the setting changed. Eden’s government has been lying to them about wether or not the earth is still alive. If it was set on Earth, things would be much different.

This story has two protagonists, Moritz and Ollie. Mortiz’s physical appearance in unlike any other. Moritz has no eyes. Although he has no eyes, Moritz is not blind. He uses echolocation to do everything a normal kid would do, and more. Some might even say he has super hearing because he can hear bones cracking and blood flowing. Moritz is a truly inspirational character in an amazing story.

As Ollie and Moritz’s stories progress, I’ve started to wonder how they just magically came pen pals. The book never explains how or why they became pen pals, the story just starts with Ollie writing to Moritz. I have a theory that Ollie’s doctor and mother contacted a boy in an other disability for Ollie to write to. Dr. Auburn-stache has always wanted Ollie to have friends, so it would make sense.

Ollie has lived an isolated life. Alone in the middle of the forest with only his mother, and occasionally visits from doctor Auburn-Stache. Ollie’s situation reminds me of Rowan’s, in the book I newly finished, Children of Eden. She has also lived the majority of her life hidden away, wishing she was able to leave her home. Ollie and Rowan are a lot alike. They would be good friends!

The main character just found her family of second children! While reading the chapter where she is indroduced to the underground world. The first thing she does it questions weather the dirt is real or not. I was wondering why she would question such a silly thing. I think it was because she had lived inside her whole life. I later found out that all the dirt in Eden is synthetic, so she was shocked to see dirt.

A lot has been going on in this book! The main character left her home to adventure in a world were she is not allowed. She also met her twin brothers friend, Lark. Lark agreed to help smear he out of her house at night so she could see the outside world. This part of the book made me nervous because I don’t want them to get caught! I’m also wonder what her parents and brother would say if they found out.

I chose to read this book because I was recommended to me by a well read friend. She said it was the first book she really enjoyed in a while. I reminds me of my favorite series, The Soulkeepers. I love this book!
