There is a lot of conflict in this book, including character to character conflict, but the most important form is character versus technology. The book is about the quest to find Halliday’s video game Easter egg. Throughout the story, Wade Watts, aka Parzival, is fighting through video games and movie remakes to inherit Halliday’s fortune.
