Absolutely loving this book.

Today, while on my walk and listening, I LOLed so hard I scared a kettle of crows from the pines. That's not to say this is a funny book, but that part sure was. If you've read it - it's the part with Anastasia and Mrs. Farnsworth. (IYKYK) 😉😂

I love learning this culture. There is so much significance to even the smallest of things. (like what kind of tea to serve someone) Treatment of Chinese immigrants in the 19th century was abhorrent.

This book would make a great movie. Due has a way of describing how the haints visit, like Blue floating cross-legged above Robbie's head. (it's more detailed than that) and it creeps me out! It's an unusual story but really good.

SO much to love about this story, even as I get the sense of impending doom!

This audiobook is something else!

The voice of Meg is perfection. All the voices are done well, but I think Meg is one of the best I've ever heard. What's interesting is I'd have bet they had a child do Meg, but no, both narrators are grown women. (!!!)🫤
