whenever there are episodes of crime shows like this book, it always makes me so anxious and i skip to the end, but this book is goooooood

probably won’t be able to finish it until after my family leaves, but i’m gonna try to finish it soon!

this book is pretty fun so far lol

Poppy is pmo. How are you telling ur bff who just lost her husband that someone is only granted a specific amount of happiness in their lifetime and that she and grant used it all up in their time together????? and why would she say that she is glad she never got pregnant even though they wanted to????

this book is hard to read, and i can’t even begin to imagine being the actual person to go experience the atrocities that Palestinians face each and every single day. Palestinians are one of the strongest people to ever walk this planet. this book has already made me cry when i read about the girl that they kidnapped. so heartbreaking, and even more heartbreaking that it’s currently happening.

listening to the audiobook of this collection of poetry read BY the author is so beautiful and emotional. i have to keep stopping and rewinding to listen to a quote again and then write it down because it is so powerful. i had to sit with a few of these poems for a bit.
