matilda is so funny but it always makes me a little sad

i’m liking this so far, i didn’t realize it was an oracle book but i felt really called to it in the store so i’m glad i bought it!

haven’t read this series in 8 years but i just bought them all on clearance from my local half price books so fingers crossed i still love them

people who work in the death industry seem to be the kindest, coolest, most humble people ever and i really hope i get to work in the funeral or forensics industry one day 🤞🏻

“it must be as if it were not” to describe both our knowledge/proximity about death and the slaughter systems that allow us to eat meat on a regular basis is a brilliant parallel.

i’m rereading this because i’m stuck in an urgent care and it’s still the perfect blend of funny, informative, and respectful. caitlin’s voice shines through even when she tells another person’s story. she’s a phenomenal storyteller and it shows.

i’m so freaking excited to read this with annotations!!! there’s nothing else i’d rather be doing tonight than cuddling with my corgi and rereading this.

so close to the end and i know how it ends 😭😭 im so excited to read it again with the annotations though!! the ending was one of the first ones that ever shocked me in a book. i’ll love this series forever.

i’m absolutely freakin obsessed with richelle’s commentary/annotations in the litjoy edition. it feels like talking with a friend about it and i love how similar our thoughts are.

got the litjoy special edition so i’m back to reread this for the second time this year lol

i’m so glad the litjoy special edition came with the tenth anniversary edition’s bonus stories!! in a couple years i’m hoping for a twentieth anniversary edition with even more content 🤞🏻🤞🏻 i’m crazy about this series and i’d definitely buy that too lol

i just reread this series in may of this year, but i ordered the special litjoy box set with annotations from richelle so of course im back and reading it again lol

my curiosity has gotten the better of me…

ugh i love these characters so much but i have to go to bed :( hoping this HEA is as good as the description promises lol

i meant to read this for halloween but it’s never too early or too late to celebrate spooky season!

started this one over a month ago but i liked the first one enough to try and finish this

lol i think this is gonna be a hate read. this fmc is pathetic and mean.

the longer i read this series, the more predictable it becomes but it also still strangely keeps me engaged and tugs at my heart strings. i know this one is gonna hurt because i don’t think it’s going to end well for any of my faves

so scared about this one. i have a million theories locked and loaded but i’m not ready for another huge, painful set of cliffhangers!! i’m not strong enough!!! looking at the playlist scares me!!

rereading this one again because book four drops in two days!!!!!

it’s always bittersweet making it to this book in my rereads of this series. sometimes (like this time) it’s been long enough to forget enough of it to surprise me. it’s almost like the magical experience that was reading it the first time. i’m always sad to leave these characters though. i need a million more books in this universe!

i’m liking this so much more than i thought i would

i tried to read this before and failed, but alina is a lot more relatable to me this time around.

i read a cale dietrich book seven years ago and really loved it, so i’ve got high hopes here!

i’ve never read anything by this author before so i’m super excited!

i love this book and if i remember right, it was my favorite in the series growing up. i wish i had logged all my reads of this series better. i’ve read it all like six times and i would’ve loved a collection of my childhood/teen thoughts about it.

i’m trying really hard to enjoy this one, but the kindle formatting is atrocious and the FMC is judgemental and unsympathetic.

nothing like reading this to my cat before bed lol

it’s really good, but i think it’ll take me a while to get through this one. it feels like it’s gonna be a sad read.

it feels so petty but i kinda wanna dnf this already for using the wrong your in “your majesty” twice…
