I'm not even half way done. I just came here to say that I wish they would fix the friggin Psy Net once and for all. This story line dragging on and on through multiple books is EXHAUSTING. It's getting to the point where I just skip over those chapters.

And I'm really sick of Blay just taking whatever Qhuinn dishes out. In every other relationship in this series, somebody steps up and does not allow their person to get lost. Blay allows Qhuinn to push him away with the excuse of giving him space for whatever he needs. Yeah that's just not it. Qhuinn treats Blay like a doormat when things aren't going well. Blay needs to put his foot down and stop that sh!t.

So I think I'm actually going to review this one when I get done. If I get done. For those who don't know me when I review a book that means it's either really good or really bad. This one is not really good.

Right now I'm struggling to figure out why we are so concerned over the death of someone who literally gave zero effs about anyone in this book? Universe.

I'm really trying to get into this. It's great to read about characters that I am familiar with and actually care about. So that part of the story I'm appreciating. What I find very annoying is the drama and I do mean drama associated with a freaking storm. Of all the difficulties that the Brotherhood has faced, The dramatic nature of this storm is just stupid.

I finally figured out who lifted the train off of Annie Kildare!! This was one of my favorite novellas. I'm so excited to have this information!

I love Sienna Lauren! She might be young, but she will not allow Hawke to dominate her. Love to see it!!

So I'm reading along and enjoying it so far and then we get to the part where Hawk starts talking to his mate. You know the one who's deceased. The one who he's been pining over all of his life. It turns out that Teresa died when she was 5 years old and Hawk was 10.

SO YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL ME THAT THIS MAN HAS BEEN TORN UP ALL OF HIS LIFE OVER A 5-YEAR-OLD? SOMEONE THAT HE MET WHEN HE WAS 10? YGTBFKM!!

The current nanny's husband is dead. And my risk parents are dead.

I'm now on page 19. So far Pete's mother father brother sister-in-law and fiance have all died.

Just an observation on Miss Jackson's novels

Is it me or is there a lot of death in the series? Everybody's parents are dead and have left them a house or parents and your brother is dead and left you a kid OR your parents and your aunt and uncle are dead

I mean can people just live sometimes?

It's great to see an actual plot and a little mystery mixed in with the insta love characteristic of the Westmorelands (and their friends apparently).

As Ms Jackson is a not a mystery writer, I was surprised at how believable the storyline was until I came across this dialogue:

"How did you get here?"

"I swam from Swan's home."

"That's impossible!"

"Not if you're a SEAL master swimmer."

I'm absolutely disgusted by the first chapter. Lucia basically takes advantage of this man in an altered state. It's not cool at all. If this had been a man doing this to a woman it would be called rape. I'm going to keep reading because I'm committed to finishing the Westmoreland books. Just wanted to document that this is not cool.

I had to look up the word "broodmare"

Cole is a creeper.

A now this asshole is threatening to ruin her aunt's business if she doesn't meet him for lunch? What the actual eff? Seriously - There is nothing romantic about this. I love a take charge, aggressive guy but this right here is not cute.

I'm just going to say it. This book should be called Sexual Harassment as opposed to intimate seduction. I'm trying to get behind the whole"seduction" thing but Donovan's behavior is creepy.

Donovan says he only selects women that want the same thing that he wants. It's clear that Natalie does not want what he wants yet he keeps pursuing her. That kind of makes him an asshole.

Also it's very unrealistic in a city as large as Charlotte that there are rumors going around about the bachelors in demand. It would be different if they were celebrities but these are just 6 random guys. Doesn't make sense.

I'm at the part where Uriel found out about Ellie writing the book. I stand by my original statement this is the most dramatic grown man I've ever seen before in my life. He's having hissy fits like a teenage girl. He actually stormed out of the room and rushed home to pack a suitcase before running away. It would be comical if this book were a comedy. Instead it's just annoying

Just started on this and this guy is so freaking dramatic. He finds out that this girl kissed him on a dare and he is sooooooooooooo hurt and upset. He vows that he will make sure that their paths never cross again. Dude you are 21 she's 16 - she's a freaking kid and you're a grown ass man. AND you're hurt and distraught. Um okay.

Darcy is just a horrible human being. Just messy and nosy. Don't like her.

In my quest to read 36 books by the end of the year this is where I find myself. I've read a few of Ms. Jackson's books and know them to be mindless quick reads. Stay tuned for my sarcasm on how cheesy and annoying this book is.

I have to give the author props for doing her homework on Detroit. I go hard in the paint when people portray my city in a negative light and get the facts wrong. This author has specific locations, areas, and gives accurate descriptions of them. Even in talking about how horrible the food is at Bucharest Grill she is on it. Much respect.

Initial Thoughts: Let me start by saying that I am really enjoying this book. I just started yesterday but I like that there is a story line and more to it than just sex. The sex that has happened so far has been great. Here's my issue: I'm on chapter five and If I hear one more time "I'm a Westmoreland" or "That's what Westmorelands do" or "you've never been with a Westmoreland" I'm going to scream.

This lady really needs to stop drinking......

I've decided that I'm officially over Uga!!

First of all, I LOVE this series. Secondly - there is just far too much going on in this book. We're trying to save Reyes, then UB and we have to fight Hellhounds. Its a bit much and I kind of just want her to get to the point. That's why I gave this book 3 stars. Otherwise it would have been 4.5

Chapter 39...ish just got real!!

So far a very good book. I'm on the edge of my seat.
