So far this is engaging, very well researched and humorous enough to get you through the drier bits of science!

I'm so close to DNFing this book because the hero is sooooo much of an asshole I really don't think the author can make the shift to acceptable for a happy ending unless he hits his head, ends up with Amnesia that gives him a whole new personality.
The heroine however is punchy enough that I will keep reading to the 100 page mark just to see if it's salvageable.

OMG - I'm only a few pages in and Cinnamon is struggling to ask Soledad out because she keeps saving Soledad and she's worried that Soledad won't be able to properly consent because of the power imbalance of just having saved her life - I have never been so emotionally invested in two characters this early on in a novel and my poor heart doesn't know what to do !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited! eep!

I am already so filled with joy knowing that people like Susan exist and so grateful that they have the courage and fortitude to do this work.
