This is genuinely one of the most poorly written books I’ve ever read

Reading this slowly has nothing to do with the quality of the book and everything to do with my crazy schedule. I maintain this is the best writing I’ve ever read

I like this quote: “…I would have liked to have loved someone. You know, mutually, and for a period of time, and at that time of life, when you’ve got so much of it… I think I’d have been good at it.” 💔💔

This book is some of the best writing I’ve ever read in my life. I really like this line: “She would shrug off this self-pity but shrugging hurt and here it was, creeping in again like damp in the walls, the loneliness, present even in company.” WOWZA!!!

If I were in any worse of a headspace, I don’t think I could handle this. I see too much of myself in both of them already
