Was able to secure the ebook for this through Hoopla so I will be reading this while I wait for my library to secure the rest of the Versailles series and until my purchased X/1999 volumes ship. Excited considering this is CLAMP’s debut work, but terrified because I’m pretty sure it’s super tragic. Still, this is perfect for my CLAMP reading challenge. There’s no avoiding their debut work…

Ok this is the only thing I want to read right now so I’ll temporary be putting everything else on hold.

I’m having a hard time getting into this but I need to read something different after the trauma of Tokyo Babylon, before I enter the next traumatic episode of X, 1999…

I’m technically rereading this as I’m teaching it so I should probably mark that.

I am SO ready to dive into CLAMP. I’ve previously watched/read some of their works but my ultimate goal is to read all of their major works. I have high hopes for this one!

Yeah no I don’t like Elm or Ione being back Ravyn and Elspeth I didn’t think this book would bore me even MORE than the last one 😭

I guess I’ll start reading this stupid ah book now and get it over with.

Seventy-percent of the way through and all characters are still heavily underdeveloped.

This book is not bad. It’s just been a slower read for me. I don’t feel impelled to binge-read it unfortunately.
