I usually enjoy Amanda Quick, and Affair was no exception.

A fun little book if you are a fan of the author.

A thorough compilation. Useful if you are a reasonably experienced practitioner.

Unreadable. Too kiddie and too saccharine for me. Gave up.

Not for everyone come up but as a yogini, this book has a permanent place on my keeper shelf

As I said, the 5th and 6th books of the series are not up to the quality of the original trilogy. They're obviously add-ons and detract from the whole.

I love this series and recommend it highly, at least the first three books. the 4th and 5th were obviously add-ons and are not up to the quality of the original trilogy.

This is the second time I've read this book. This time, however, midway through I noticed a great big hole in the plot, specifically in the motivation of the protagonist. I can't reveal it because it would be a spoiler, but an astute reader will notice it also. It's spoiled the book for me and I just can't finish it. It's just too stupid.

I've enjoyed the series and look forward to the next book.

I've always loved Margot Benary-Isbert's books since I was a child. My first was Blue Mystery and I was intrigued so much by it I still remember it... And I read it when I was about nine, I think. Unfortunately most of her books are out of print or very difficult to find. I like this book but not as much as most of hers.
