so so so glad i bought the whole series after book one because WOW. what a ride.

almost done and i really don't want to leave, lol

paused this book to read library borrows in between. i hope i will remember what happened. but i know rincewind was battling a huge spider and twoflower was having pictures painted by the imp.

bought this on kindle so i could read it immediately after BUT i've also borrowed a different series of this author and will read that part first to take a little break from Feyre and Rhys <3. i only have 29 days, will i make it in time?!?

whilst waiting on the library to lend me book 2, i've restarted the discworld series. woohoo!

yay for more fantasy things in my local library ebook section - i'm quite happy they're jumping onto that latest tiktoktrend!
as far as this book is concerned, i love it. it has all the tropes i enjoy. and i'm happy the library has all parts of the series so i won't have to buy for the kindle.

So i'm really loving my forage into young adult scifi/fantasy books as my recent reads show. i bought the whole Talon series on a whim and used an amazon offer, and have not regretted it. these trying times need immersive reading and these series deliver.

so whilst waiting on the next book in the Iron Fey series by same author decided to give this series a go. i hope it's just as good and riveting. because lord knows escapist fiction is needed in my life. if you have any recs, do message me! :)

chapter 5, and i love reading this series so so so much. on to the next bits!

okay, i caved in and got the second anthology boxset on kindle. so now i can read at my own pace and not the library's.

i'm not sure where i am in the book pages-wise, but they are doing a massive walking journey with all kinds of adventures. i'm not so clear what the purpose is either, but okay. just biding time until next book of Iron Fey is available to me in the library.
the writing style doesn't really appeal much yet.

have to pause the other books i'm reading cuz the library doesn't wait!

currently going through a fantasy phase (my first love of reading was fairy tales, and this gradually progressed into scifi/fantasy) but also want to still read M/M, but since i'm ace, rather smutless ;-). i'm also reading good omens fanfic, so if i don't update on here a lot, that's why. if you have recommendations, do not hesitate to send them ! i love to chat about books.

watched episode 1 on netflix last night so decided to give the book a go. i'm going back to my old love of fairy tales of late, because the world is so horrible right now, i need my escape.

better look at your percentages first before posting an update, anyway, turns out i'm not nearly as far as i thought. but a very enjoyable read so far.

the only bad thing about reading library books is that other people read the same series as you and the next part has been borrowed so i need to wait until it becomes available for download to continue. almost done with this book. it had a slow start and i cringed at the high school bits but soon as we entered the faery world it was a lot better.
