Enjoying the book so far, but the editor needs to rework it a bit.

“Is because” & “This is because” are over used in the first half of the book.

In the last half, the phrase turns into “was because” & “This was because”. Plus, in the last half, sentences start to begin with “because”.

Halfway through and I want to keep reading so very bad. Alas, I have to go back to work in the morning. ; ;

Finding it hard to continue as the stories are kind of the same premise over and over. Person makes a deal, person breaks a deal or does something wrong, person is punished and going to die, person pleads to tell a story to spare death, repeat

Almost gave up on this one a couple times, but around 200 pages in I got hooked. Hundred pages after that I had to sadly put it down for sleep.

little over halfway through and I'm finding this one very hard to read. The whole second book has just turned into a metaphor for modern religions really.
Christians are led by corrupt power hungry priests. Muslims are slave labor and then broken down into radical shia and subservient sunni.
