i have no time at all to read (haven't read a book since the start of october) but i've been watching Anne With An E clips and i really just need some Anne time

This book is so old it smells really bad 😭 really not motivating me to read it

Reading this book at 20 past 11 and grinning to myself like some sort of dumb fool. Also I love this book so much I think if one wanted to understand me as a person one would have to read this book.

Reading a chapter of this one night and a chapter of my other Keller book on the next night! Gonna be full of Keller wisdom by the end.

She keeps referring back to things from the last book without background but I can't remember any of it help me 🫠🫠

i'm expecting this to take me a long time but that's ok because it's all stuff i need to hear!!

my fav analogy so far is that of Ortlund's 2 year old son hanging onto his hand until he can't anymore, and then Ortlund holding onto him and not letting him go - Christ holds onto us when we are too weak to hold onto him, and once he holds on he will not let go!

In my quest of having dreams about something other than my current situation, I'm experimenting with reading scary books just before I go to sleep... Will report back

Chapter 11 is basically Wilde showing off his cultural knowledge and I am utterly at a loss I understand 0% of it

Every chapter I read I go, 'How can I have forgotten that truth about God?' so you know, it's a great book

I'm 120 pages in and the action has only just kicked in... This may be a long one

Just changed my reading challenge to 45 instead of 55 because instead of looking forward to reading a book for the sake of reading a book, I just wanted to read as much as possible to get my numbers up, which in turn made me not want to read so I'm choosing sanity instead 0:)

It's been a month and a half since I finished a book so I'm getting a shuffle on, this is a good one to shuffle on with!

Honestly forgot how much I like him, though the 16 year age gap makes me a lil uncomfy but times were different you know

Honestly it's much better than I remember, but then again last time I was probably 13 and had the flu so... Life was not good for me at all really.

Classic uni making me buy books written by their lecturers 😇
