I leaned forward, close enough for my nose to brush across her chest. Her heart was beating so fast it drowned out all sounds around me.”

this is a demon doing this btw but she’s ethical(?) so it’s okay

The soft dawn paints him in undertones of blue, making him look nearly translucent. She wishes she could paint. The only way to capture the colors of his face would be in watercolor.
