Ehhhhh...I don't know. If things aren't looking up by page 100 I'm cutting it loose.

So far it's not great. There are continuity errors (in one scene Kayin wakes up in a short sleeved dress, and then the next scene she's nervously fingering her blazer. Where did the blazer come from?). There are a few grammatical errors, but nothing overwhelming. The protagonist is very unlikeable, but at this point I haven't determined if that's how she's supposed to be (see: Don Draper).

First impressions: A good book that rips a shitty book to shreds, in a delightful manner.

Always nice to visit with one of my favorite literary villains.

I want to know what happens, but I hate these characters. Nadia, in particular.

This is reading like a Hallmark movie so far. I don't care for Hallmark movies.

Enjoying so far. Wonder how all the players will come together
