what is the science behind always being in a reading slump when you finally have time to read??

I’m reading the book on Kindle, and I was like, “why are we all highlighting the phrase “It’s going to take one hell of a woman to convince me to hand over my heart again”, when we are not in the dad’s POV?”

So I read the blurb again…turns out we are NOT dating the dad🤡
I think I have a problem.
