this may be a book where everyone is sort of an awful person but im not sure i mind

welp ive reached the point of this book where i hope our girl rips out her eyeball and runs off to be a lesbian

this is one of those unfortunate scenarios where i'm not quite in the right headspace for a book but i can't stop reading it because i'm doing it for a work book club, so i end up getting too annoyed by things like "character glosses over a years long, soul destroying love affair in like ten pages"

just hit a plot point where i went "oh this is just like in how to train your dragon"

Needed an audiobook break from the brutality of WWII extermination camps 😭🫣

this book is horny in a kind of boring way and im trying to decide if it's worth pushing through the last hour on the audiobook
