Unforgettably beautiful!!! God only knows why I'd been avoiding classic literature for the past few years because i surely was missing out on some of the most enchanting and eloquent stories of all time.

The world building is immaculate

People have been criticising this book for being more fictitious than factual but i believe that the majority of the tales accounted in this are true even though the trauma of women has veen glorified to a certain extent. Nevertheless this is a massively disturbing yet eyeopening read.

As a muslim this book is deeply disturbing for me. A truly moving account of what life was like behind the veils of Saudi womens.

Is it just me or is the prose so complex that you lose sight of the story at times?

There is something so deeply haunting about the narration.

Exam season calls for a YA read. I picked up this book on an impulse because Early Departures by Justin Reynolds has been my favorite book so far this year. Now that I've read the synopsis something tells me that this is gonna make me cry.

This book is better than all three of the Shadow and Bone books combined. Nikolai is one of the most likeable characters I've read and I don't want this book to end.
