Looking for my new “Emily Henry”… I’ve never read a book by this author. I’m enjoying the 2000s romcom vibes. I’m wondering how the author will tie this up without me getting mad at the characters though…..

I need to read more historical fiction.

Loving the drama. I adore female friendships in books no matter how messy.

I might be DNFing this. Not because it isn’t well written or interesting. It honestly a difficult read for someone who struggles with reading about Alzheimer’s. I watched my grandmother lose her entire personality and ability to care for herself over a period of 12 years to it. I harbor an intense fear of the loss of agency. This book is presenting aging with very little hope, and it may be too hard for me.

4.5 ⭐️ Spooky, spooky and a really compelling mystery that ties up nicely.

I have been in such a slump and this book is giving me life.

I’m having a great time. I think I have something figured out and I’m not mad about it. I love it when a book reminds me why reading is the best form of entertainment. Hopefully this continues on such a positive note.
