I might be DNFing this. Not because it isn’t well written or interesting. It honestly a difficult read for someone who struggles with reading about Alzheimer’s. I watched my grandmother lose her entire personality and ability to care for herself over a period of 12 years to it. I harbor an intense fear of the loss of agency. This book is presenting aging with very little hope, and it may be too hard for me.
