OMG the Big Misunderstanding was actually huge and real and heartbreaking. I wanted to throttle Drew for the last 45 minutes. Ugh it hurts and I hope it is fixed satisfactorily.

I’m in love with this book! I’m not a MMORPG gamer so some of the lingo was confusing (there was a glossary at the beginning but my ADHD tuned it out) but Solis/Kit is so charming and Drew’s existential crisis is handled in a way that feels realistic yet still not bigoted. 3 hours left, so still plenty of time for a big misunderstanding and eventual reconciliation.
