Kate was a good book. But was a little boring if you are looking for details of her day to day with the wounded or at least with her hospital duties. Seems to have focused more on other activities with just a touch of her nurse duties.

The complete memoirs of Ulysses S Grant was a dry but very informative read. Very interesting book about Grant, his family history, and civil war tactical history.
Truthfully I got bored with the book in the last 100 pages. Unless you know every general, regiment and troop locations this book is a hard read. It is interesting, extremely informative of what he was thinking and doing.

Interesting to see what some days are like for an amish person. Not too exciting but not extremely boring for a read.
