Alison is starting Born to Be Wired: Lessons from a Lifetime Transforming Television, Wiring America for the Internet, and Growing Formula One, Discovery, Sirius XM, and the Atlanta Braves
Honestly, this is a disappointment. It is so dry and repetitive that I am
Dying to skim most of the sections. I feel like Malone would have benefitted by having a better editor. About 1/4 of the way through and he is only 52 years old.

Charming, heartfelt, wonderful read. I can’t get enough! Chapter 17 Superstar and fritz-sums up so much a mother would like to say about dating.

I am on page 181 and can happily say this will be one of my favorite books of 2016. The characters are rich and deeply detailed. Every scene, every room and every conversation is vivid. I have never read the same book twice but this is one that I want to read again, there is so much to love that I feel like I am missing things!!

This is a fascinating book. May get a five. You can feel lahiri's frustration and heartache at certain points throughout the book. I have lost track of the number of times I haven stopped so contemplate her thoughts and words. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't, but this book is filled with emotional conflict, distress and personal reflection. My guess is that lahiri's greatest novel is yet to come.

Alison is starting Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich
I m 40 pages into this book and my hair is standing on end. If one tenth of this is true ( and we know that this has been thoroughly fact checked) the Clintons should be barred from DC. When I think about all the conflict of interest and Chinese walks that have been regulated into bring on Wall Street, I am horrified at the Clintons greed and self-serving approach.

Alison is reading Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me
Slowly making progress. An incredibly accomplished and frankly modest woman. She seems to be a woman of faith, character and commitment. Worth the time.

Alison is reading Kingdom of Strangers
Loving this book. Well- drawn characters, fast moving plot, vivid picture of modern day Saudi society. Definitely the read I have been looking for this summer!!!

Not happening. Loved Walk in the Woods, but this keeps falling to the bottom of the pile!
