Just finished the first four parts of the book, where the history of racist ideas in America are told through the windows of Cotton Mather, Thomas Jefferson, William Lloyd Garrison and W.E.B. Du Bois. The final part features Angela Davis, about whom I’d love to know more.

(Did I get the grammar right in that last sentence?)

Just finished the book. Too late and tired to write an appropriate review. But that will come. So I’ll just say for now “Thank you Mr. Glaude. And thank you Jimmy.”

This book is the only one I’ve read that’s brought me close to tears. And I’ve only read one and a half chapters.
