Amy Much > Recent Status Updates

I’m struggling with this one. I was OBSESSED with her first book, Sandwich. This is the same characters/a sequel and it’s missing the magic of the first book. I don’t care about picking it up. I’m forcing it and I read a few pages and stop. Ugh.

A few thoughts.
1. What’s with the nicknames. This is a thing in romance and it’s supposed to be cute and like, hot? It’s not. 9/10 times it’s forced.
2. My patience for not using your words no longer exists.
3. Who says YUP unless they’re being folksy ironic.
And
4. The “creative” colorful language that Koen uses just sounds ridiculous.
