Time to move the goalposts... Aiming for 125 this year (but also hoping to hit that number the end of summer).

Hi friends!!! Apologies if I have flooded your pages for the past couple of days. I have not been keeping up with my Goodreads and wanted to play catch-up a bit. I'm trying to read 3-5 books per week all summer, so hit me up with your favorite YA novels!

Odd to see Keely's reaction to Mac... I loved the bit about his "nickname." It made me LOL.

This took a while to get in to and was overall pretty repetitive. Definitely good quality romantic scenes, but seemed like it was a lot longer than it needed to be for very little plot movement. And a TON of dialogue as exposition, so lots of telling and not showing. (I'm going to copy this same review across all three books since I feel the same way about them).

Not really loving this... might have to 3x speed this audiobook.

A little slow going here. Will have to pick up. I find myself skimming a lot.

Listening via Audible and Santoni Fontana (Hans from Frozen) is AMAZING as reading this. I didn't think I would like the second person narrative and it took some getting used to, but it works for this type of story.

This is a slower start than usual for SJM. I had started this before a few months ago and couldn't get into it. I love SJM so I will push through but I am feeling a bit lost right now.

I have NOT been good about logging my books this year, hence the mass "date read" exodus over to my "Read" shelf.

Very interesting narrative flow. And Rachel... I just don't trust a word she says.

I accidentally started reading what I thought would be a smutty romance. Nope- it is Mormon romance, complete with Sisters, Elders, and Our Heavenly Father prayers and sermons. Not the smut factor I was shooting for...

This book has a very different tone that the others in the series.

I'm feeling like the Captain Hook is going to be all sorts of tortured and wounded soul!

I have about an hour left of "Kill Chain" on my audiobook and I can't bring myself to finish it knowing that it is the last book of the unfinished series!

Interesting so far. Very short chapters. I wish I could still remember what I learned in music to see if I can garner anything from the pages of music between each chapter!

This is very slow moving. I like the world building, but I'm having a hard time buying into the reasoning for the great library.

I love this story SO much. This is my all time favorite HP FF and I do not care who knows it.

I'm liking this and how things are coming together. The dramatic irony kills it in this book!
