this series is always such a gripping reread but gosh do I hate the way the books talk about women

I kinda wanna dnf I’m just not liking it 😭

it really bothers me how much these spies talk in public spaces about their private spy business 😭

one of my favorite parts of this world is that I can reread Crooked Kingdom as many times as I could ever want

these books are so nostalgic and I fall more in love with them with each reread

thinking of dnf-ing this, the writing style really takes me out of the story and I’ve been trying to get into the book for a whole few weeks

this book disturbs me a lot more than it did when I was a child
