It's a pretty decent adaptation, I feel like it goes very fast but that's because we've seen this part of the story a lot of times. The chapters that adapt landscapes that haven't been fully seen are very good and the characters are in good hands. Being an adaptation, there are things that were chosen to be left out, modified or modernized and that is fine. It is not intended to be a page-by-page copy of the book, but a new approach to it.
