Really liking this so far.

Finding this quite engaging at the moment.

A bit surprised on how much I’m actually enjoying this.

Picked up this book today from the reading corner of a shopping mall. Only managed to reach this page before I had to leave. Hope the book is still there on my next visit.

Getting really good.

Been making slow progress because I didn't have much interest in the earlier pages, but now that Luke's already at the Institute, things are getting more intriguing.

So much emotions to absorb, this protagonist drains my energy every time I pick up this book.

Entered chapter 3 where some interesting things happen. Particularly entertained reading the part where the French teacher made the main character ramble about sunsets. The writing style still slows down my reading, it the plot is getting good now.

Finished the first chapter. Very strange writing style that I seldom come across. Will need some time to adapt to it.

Getting pretty exciting now, which is surprisingly filled with some teen detective vibes contrary to the spooky The Shining vibe. The Dan-Abra relationship is kinda teaching me one important aspect of character-writing, regarding how far and how logical it is for a stranger to go to great lengths to help another stranger. Very excited to finish this.

Beginning to see that King writes about the human condition and behaviour disguised so well as stories that people might think his stories are horror while the truth is that our human condition is where the horror lies.
