i feel like we are avoiding the big question here

by the cover you would not be able to tell these main characters are in their mid 30s

like why do we keep letting him monologue .. someone muzzle him yuck i’m sick of it

after reading this, it is even more hilarious (and unfortunate) that they chose jacob elordi to play heathcliff. unless it was satire, which maybe the whole movie is supposed to be, but nonetheless, a laughable choice

it is infuriating for me, as a reader, with no personal affiliation to the victim, to read that a man was acquitted of the rape and assault of his first wife to then do the same to his second partner but to then murder her as well. if the justice system had served its purpose the first time, a woman would be alive today. i can't imagine the outrage of her family and his first victim.

the book got a 100 times better with mosscap.
