I really love this writing but GEEZ guys can you stop pussyfooting around each other? This much restraint and pretense is not healthy - it actually makes me think that a relationship is not in their best interests at all.

I was about to finally DNF, then saw I just have an hour left on audio. So guess I’ll finish. If you’ve reached 50% and suddenly don’t enjoy it anymore… I’m sorry to say that won’t change.

I know this is touted as genre-bending and whatnot, but this sci-fi dystopian just added horror/paranormal to its repertoire and I’m actually not enjoying it. I DON’T like horror, but also, the plot and FMC are becoming annoying.

Do I really need to hear about this man’s poop every chapter??

Listening to the audiobook, and the narrator’s speed is a bit off - like very stop-and-start. It helps to listen at x1.5, but is still a bit annoying.
