This was the first truly engrossing chapter of the book and I wish it came 700 pages ago!

This book sucks but I just got to the gay part and that is mildly sustaining me!

The fact that the entire plot of this book hinges on Gemma making the worst possible decision at every turn is a bummer, but I’ve come this far!

I am going to finish this goddamn book if it’s the last thing I do.

The story about the dudes in Australia was extremely queer. I will not be taking questions at this time.

I love the writing in this book but the content is what I can only describe as aggressively heterosexual. “Trample the Dead, Hurdle the Weak,” which was actually one of my favorite stories so far, would have been MUCH more compelling if the underlying queerness had been addressed.
