W.B. Jacobs
W.B. Jacobs is on page 274 of 304 of A Journey to the Center of the Earth
Boring and overly detailed, this novel began as interesting but grew boring and has become a chore to read, and I'm required to read it to school, which is the only thing keeping me reading at all.

W.B. Jacobs is on page 215 of 393 of A Criminal Defense (Philadelphia Legal, #1)
The story is kind of slow picking up, but the writing has improved from its initial amateur state, and the story does have many interesting elements that keep me reading.

A Criminal Defense (Philadelphia Legal, #1)

W.B. Jacobs
W.B. Jacobs is on page 14 of 393 of A Criminal Defense (Philadelphia Legal, #1)
So far the novel is somewhat interesting, though it feels like it's moving too fast and the writing feels amateur and over dramatic at times.

Even if it Kills Her (Bailey Weggins Mystery #7)

W.B. Jacobs
W.B. Jacobs is on page 86 of 386 of Into the Water
The story is definitely taking a much more interesting turn, and the author turned the somewhat dull exposition into something far more engaging and mysterious that I have a good feeling about.

The novel, while it doesn't quite have my attention, is still interesting. One thing that's unique about it is the different uses of pov, as it switches between characters but also first, second, and third person in a mix that enhances the story well, and I look forward into continuing to read this story.

W.B. Jacobs is on page 664 of 702 of Sleeping Beauties
Even though there has been a lot of boredom with the setup, and it seemed like a hopeless situation, King has managed to create a satisfying but still tense resolution.

The intensity of the novel is definitely picking up, along with the suspense, however gore is being relied on a little too heavily when it comes to the battle of the prison, and Evie's actions are requiring more and more suspension of disbelief.

The sections in the women's world are gaining more intensity, thus becoming more interesting, though I thought that the scene with Tiffany's birth dragged on a little two long, and there are a few too many descriptions of things that have little plot importance.

Again, the descriptions of the world the women are in tend to be boring and stretch on far too long, and feel kind of unnecessary, though they may turn out to be necessary for the climax, I just don't know. What I do find interesting currently, however, is the unfolding of Clint's plan to protect Evie and the other happenings in the real, male dominated, world.

The section I just read included a description of the world the women were stuck in, and while it was interesting, it went on for too long and grew somewhat dull.

W.B. Jacobs is on page 53 of 130 of The Dispatcher (The Dispatcher #1)
This is proving to be an even quicker read than I initially expected, and while I read a few reviews saying that it was too slow setting up its premise, I find it to be an acceptable pace.
While it isn't terrible suspenseful yet, I still have high expectations for the novella going forward.
