Ok, well, this may be one of very, very few books I actually DNF. It is horribly contradictive (sometimes within the same sentence), simple, and lacks depth to the characters. Not to mention there are several "plot holes" that desperately need to be filled. It's a pity too, as the general concept has potential.

Chyina is 25% done with Into the Mists

Ch9 and nothing is happening. Just the MC going on and on and on about her sadness, guilt, self-loathing, no future, the world is unfair, unjust and so on. I mean literally, that's ALL that is happening or being talked about. Pity, I wanted to like this book. Well, I will drag myself on and see if it gets any better. Not holding my breath though.
