Onto level 4 which is tough for 6th or 7th level characters unless they are cautious. I’d be reluctant to use some NPCs with directly translated magic armour (AC26 is just daft, seems better to hike the HP)

A strong start. The awesome Stranger, with some impeccable Kirby art, followed by the two part debut of the Juggernaut, tied to Xavier’s origins. Sentinels next.

Vintage stuff here: the classic villains like Magneto and his Brotherhood, including Wanda and Pietro; the Vanisher; the Blob; Unus the Untouchable. Awesome

Recall these tales from the pocket books of the 80s. Classic tales with that simplicity of the era

Just outstanding. Oddly, if I look back on books 1 and 2 I wouldn’t have guessed the arcs I’m most engaged with.

Steady enough stories here. As well as civil unrest plots we’ve had a pseudo Bucky, Strucker, and MODOK, as well as the Red Skull. Bit angsty in places. Gene Colans art definitely grew on me since I was a kid, though better in Dr Strange methinks.

Odd story with SHIELD wasn’t that good, but enjoyed the Satans Angels story. Now onto Red Skull….

A Vietnam story with the Mandarin, then a story with Falcon which is odd and with badly judged KKK references

Last few stories with the rather lacklustre League of Lightning moving onto the SubMariner and Puppet Master, then some curious tales in Asgard!!!

Good stories by and large. The Abomination story was good; High Evolutionary one rather odd. THE EARLIER Boomerang one was fun, showing Hulk vs low league villain ( qv Silver Surfer). Now on league of lightning, which is standard get Hulk to rampage story. Stan Lee was drying up a little…

Tyrannus and Mole Man, slightly daft story

I miss Abercrombie when I don’t read him. Class.

Finished the original adventure, and onto the Goodman Games glow up. Enjoyed the crazy scope of the first, although found aspects rightly designed

Completed tge rather uneven run of Nick Fury’s own comic, now mopping up Avengers 72 and Marvel Spotlight 31.

Loving the vibe of old school AD&D here. Reading the reprint part and just finished first level
