Perhaps not as seminal as the last collection, but still some solid plots with good use of characters and nice mix of new/one-off villains and established foes. Good foreshadowing style too.

Good. Several plot threads (bad pun) with a bit too much tell not show, not uncommon for 80s fantasy. Nonetheless feels better established than book one, and enjoying it.

Okay. This is really really good

Okay I’ll admit it, Millers art was great with Klaus’s inks and the stories are great, both the McKenzie ones and then when Frank takes over and brings us Elektra!,

Through to the Bestiary. Some crazy potent magic items in here.

Onto Adonis. Remember this and Rich Buckler’s pseudo Kirby art from the time.

Up to 238 now. The Faustus Nazi story was good, then we get a Steve Rogers reboot in light of an apparent tragedy. Just as we meet new characters we are tossed into a side quest story. Assume it was due to bouncing around writers.

Excellent. Better than the parallel ASM.

Feels clunkier than book one, perhaps with a main character that is more aloof

Lyrical, strange, fairy tale fantasy which is surprisingly brutal in places

Good stories so far. Two parter with Angel and Iceman, then White Tiger reappears along with the Enforcers and Lightmaster.

Mainly here for Jon Byrne’s run.

Onto the White Tiger story which is a little daft. Earlier ones have been fairly solid though, and i like the personal life focus. Reading it parallel to ASM by date of release.

Excellent space opera with tge added pulp of tge Miller character

Just finished #300; excellent, after the Ring legend that left me rather uninspired.
