I felt the need to reread the series. Haven't done so in years. Getting older had given me a different perspective on things. I knew Katniss was 16 but it never registered completely. Now I'm sobbing. My heart hurts so much and I'm barely in the story.

Second read through and I still kind of hate Lauren

I remember why I didn't like Lauren. Maybe I'm too old. Too jaded. Either way I want to tell her to grow up.
