I am reading this book with my 7 years old neice hoping to make her addicted to books rather than ipads. I have finished it but she is halfway through her 3rd chapter. She is loving it so far. Let's see.

Suitable for children around 8-15. Nehru tries to introduce nature's history and some of its finest arts to his daughter.

Few stories left but overall a good read, which probably everyone knows when it's written by Chekhov. LOL. Read it sloooowwlyyy. one story a day or one story in few days. Otherwise it gets mixed up..like in my head.

Imo,half of the descriptions and metaphors and similes used in this book is neither necessary nor enjoyable, however, because it includes various aspects of society, from family to parenthood to childhood to casteism, sexism and many different inequalities. Was a good read as a whole. :)

A fine read from the perspective of Draupadi about being woman and womanhood. While I might not agree to everything this book (or Draupadi points out about being a woman), I loved knowing how it was thought probably 1000 years ago.

I recommend this book along with Radha by Krishna Dharabasi. 😊

A little bit violent for small children but is a nice children's book whatsoever.

Felt like a movie's script but I got a glimpse of what it was during India-Pakistan partisan.

I gifted this to myself on my birthday yesterday and read it. Didn't understand what the wish actually was but it was a good story to think upon.

Loved how the story is very spellbinding!

A greatttt book I have read in quite a long time. Real and moving!! I cried with the characters, prayed for the character, even cursed the characters..and I couldn't stop finishing the book after I met Sohrab.
For you, a thousand times over! 💟💟
