I'm so bummed. I was enjoying this series as a quick easy read. I'm 89% into this installment, and I had to just walk away. i won't give a spoiler, but Winter did something and I literally lost all respect for her and just walked away. I have been trying to talk myself into finishing to see if it can be turned around, but I've already read several other books - and I never read more that one a time. IDK

This one is kinda getting on my nerves. I don't like the inequality between the 2. He's kind of an ass.

You just have to ignore the cheesy lines and the mistakes.

Unless it was like "that one time a band camp" ... I think we are mixing similes, and not in a good way.
Also the author needs to find another way to express Mari's concern for her "nature" -(no spoilers) without repeating the same phrases over and over. That's getting a little annoying.

Hi, I would love some fantasy/paranormal book recommendations where the main female character experienced, or is going through, some form of abuse.
I just finished "Harbinger Bend" by Laken Cane. This is the perfect example of this. Think "Sleeping with the enemy" but with a fantasy/paranormal twist.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated!

He's as annoying as F%^&
And unfortunately he seems to be the one Sawyer is spending the most time with. I really hope this changes....

I thought I clicked this book as want to read-and apparently I did NOT.
Please if anyone can help me find it. It is a new release, or about to be released book in the fantasy, paranormal genre. It has the word "Book" in the title, and the premise is something like - she's a librarian or works in a book store, and has some kind of magic. Yep that's all I got! Please any help would be greatly appreciated!

This book is ok, but it really just brings to mind vampire academy - pures with elemental affiliations, halfs in servitude. A female teenage half student paired to a male pure teacher. I'm not sure how much more i'm going to give this book before I just step away.

Not liking

UGH!! This just dropped from a 3 star to a 2.... and is seriously close to being DNF. I was willing to ignore some of the inconsistencies in characters, and the plot silliness as I just wanted a nice fluff read... but good god.

I couldn't connect with the MC. I didn't care for her at all.

Asking all to pray for my dog - She just had surgery to remove her spleen because of a tumor. Depending on the type of cancer she has, she has about 3 months to 1 1/2 years. Thanks for any prayers.

Having trouble getting into this one...not sure why.

When I left our daring heroine on Friday, she had just been lashed to the main mast and had her back bared to all as the Captain held up the cat. I have never looked forward to a Monday morning commute like this before.

About halfway through and enjoying it nicely.

Be afraid people..... I have baked! I'm pretty sure that's a sign of the Apocalypse. But on the bright side I have cake!

This is an amazing audio book! The reader is fantabulous! I really hopes she continues in this series! She makes a 3 star book into a 4! :)
